In my last blog I mentioned getting a magnetic board at Ikea. To me a magnetic board is magnetized and anything metal should stick to it right? Not so. So back to Ikea I go on Saturday and take back the board and tell them it doesn't work. The clerk tells me the board is not magnetic that I am to put something on the board that is magnetic. Then why sell something they call magnetic when it isn't. Anyway to make a long story short, I returned the board and he said I should go to a craft store and get a magnetic sheet and apply it to the metal board.I then went to Michaels to see if they even had such a thing and sure enough they did. I purchased an adhesive magnetic sheet then went back to Ikea and bought another board. For you older generation out there, do you remember Mac Tac? Well, this is as bad to use as Mac Tac. John helped me to apply it onto the board.Once you start to put this on there is no moving it and trying again. I'm hoping this is going to be worth all this time and fuss. As you can see in the photo it did what it was supposed to do. I now have all my Spellbinder die cuts in one place and I don't have to sort them out every time I want to use them.
